launching today at the museum of contemporary art is unseen cinema, an elaborate screening cycle of experimental american avant-garde films from 1894-1941 [on until may 2]. many of these works have been unseen until 2001, when the unseen cinema retrospective was presented at the moscow international film festival. the film cycle is curated by bruce posner and has seven thematic sections. location: m.n.a.c. auditorium, palaţul parlamentului, wing e4, calea izvor 2-4 [downtown].
