fine trophies deserve fine treatment. well, a.p.c. couldn’t agree more. the cool french brand teams up with organic cosmetics brand aesop to launch fine fabric care, a cleanser designed specifically for handwashing delicate garments. it’s formulated by aesop chemists and contains extracts of petitgrain, lemon and cedarwood, and is made with the same quality ingredients and customary care that they use when making skin, hair and body products. your bottle of fine fabric care will be exclusively available at a.p.c. stores across the planet from next september.

singapore got a solid french style injection with the recent opening of a.p.c.’s first boutique in the city. located at the raffles hotel shopping arcade, the sleek new store is designed by a.p.c. house architect laurent deroo and features the brand’s entire menswear and womenswear collections. location: 328 north bridge road, shop 02-08 [city hall].

a.p.c. lends you a hand in dressing sharply. the french brand adds two 1970s-inspired jackets to its ligne costume range. the jackets are fitted and come in black + navy wool, and in a more classic cloudy flannel. complementing the sharp design is a refined inner detailing. what’s more? a new formal shirt in various fabrics, including one in exclusive french poplin.

a.p.c.’s exotic roots become more evident than ever now that laurence touitou, sister of the brand’s frontman jean touitou, has come up with la liste tunisienne. after focusing on architecture, cook books and music, laurence touitou has concluded a rather lovely wish list of traditional summer products made by and in support of local craftsmen in their native tunisia.

included in la liste tunisienne is the perfect straw hat, a printed scarf, a bath towel, exquisitely wrapped soaps and even a doormat. all products are available from may 20 - jun 15 at a.p.c. stores across the planet.

ohhh…a.p.c.! the brand of modern classics certainly knows how to shelter its coveted merchandise. its latest paris venture is another statement of retail cool and is designed by laurent deroo, the starchitect who has already crafted many a stunning a.p.c. store across the planet. mind you, this hyperclean, all-white outlet has a special status, selling only a selection of jeans, accessories and featuring items from special projects. location: 1 rue de varenne [st.-germain].

after the initial hesitation and elaborate preparation a.p.c.’s jean touitou releases sustain, the brand’s first fragrance. the new unisex product has been developed in collaboration with l.a.-based artisan perfumer haley alexander van oosten, contains 12 essential oils and is inspired by, belief it or not, jean touitou’s ‘perception of the smell of a guitar case in which rose petals would have been scattered’. the sustain fragrance comes in a strikingly off-beat wooden bottle and will drop in a.p.c. stores across the planet today.
