don’t miss out on this one! the graffiti - états des lieux exhibition launched earlier this month at galerie du jour [on until oct 10]. this showcase focuses on the complete spectrum of graffiti through video, installation art, sculpture, drawing and performance art and 30 urban artists have been invited to create a work that can be seen as an extrapolation of what they usually create in the street. to mark the occasion, galerie du jour and wasted talent have republished norman mailer’s the faith of graffiti, a work first published in 1974. location: 44 rue quincampoix [marais].

to celebrate the agnès b. x dc shoes collab on the latter’s dc double label series, they launched the forward 3 urban art exhibition which is on now [until mar 18] at the agnès b. store in paris. on display personal works by french artists along with custom works that showcase their interpretation of I♥NY. artists include sophie toporkoff, supakitch and guillaume abdi. the show will travel to new york next. location: 3-6 rue du jour [1er].

opening party of the mödern young people show at the agnès b. librairie galerie is thu - dec 11 [from 7pm]. this cools show documents the post-punk, coldwave and culture növo in france in 1978-1983. additionally french artist franck rezzak presents his installation door no. 103 which he modified especially for the occasion. location: 18 wing fung street [wanchai].
